The Atchison Workforce Center has access to funding, curriculum and training providers who can provide cost-effective solutions to your training needs. We can provide on-site training to increase employee skill levels and performance. We will help broker job-specific training with local educational institutions who can develop curriculum tailored to your company.

Heartland Works, Inc. Atchison Office has moved back to the Atchison Workforce Center, 818 Kansas effective 12/19/07. The telephone number remains the same: 913- 367-1740 and Fax: 913- 367-1746. Heartland Works, Inc. staff are at the Center on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Kansas Department of Commerce staff are at the Atchison Workforce Center on Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Their new phone number is 913-367-4311. Commerce staff can also be reached by contacting the Lawrence Workforce Center at 785-840-9675. The Lawrence Workforce Center is located at 2540 Iowa Street, Suite R, Lawrence, Kansas
