Receive one-on-one assistance with your job search needs, including improving your resume writing and interview skills. Searching for a job can be a trying time. You don’t have to go through it alone. The staff at the Lawrence Workforce Center can help! We have a variety of resources to guide you in writing your resume. You can either study on your own or be a part of our resume writing workshop. Staff will review your resume and provide suggestions for improvement so it attracts the attention of hiring businesses in the Lawrence and surrounding communities. Has it been a while since you interviewed? Are you getting interviews but then not getting the job offers? Visit with a staff member to discuss your interview performance. We either have resources for you to study independently or you can be a part of our interview workshop. Or, we’ll even set up mock interviews for you as a safe way to “practice” before going in for the real deal!
